Products for combination skin

Combination skin is characterized by different areas of the face having different needs. Typically, the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) is oilier and may have shine or blemishes, while the cheeks are often drier or normal.

This skin type needs a balancing skincare routine that both hydrates and regulates sebum production. A gentle cleanser that doesn’t dry out the skin is important, along with a light moisturizer that provides enough moisture without feeling greasy. It can also be good to use products that are tailored to different zones of the face – for example, a mattifying product in the T-zone and a more moisturizing cream on drier areas. This way, the entire skin gets what it needs to stay balanced.

Jojoba ♥ Hyaluronic acid =

true

To create balance, combination skin needs hydration without weighing it down, as well as ingredients that help regulate sebum production.

Jojoba oil is a light and balancing oil that resembles the skin's own sebum. It helps to stabilize sebum production in oilier areas while softening and strengthening drier areas. The oil is easily absorbed by the skin and contributes to a smoother, more balanced skin feel without clogging pores.

Hyaluronic acid is an effective humectant that hydrates both dry and superficial areas without feeling heavy. It helps the skin retain moisture, gives a smooth and plump feeling and counteracts tightness.

Jojoba oil and hyaluronic acid work together to balance, hydrate and strengthen combination skin. The result is skin that feels soft, harmonious and hydrated – with less shine in the T-zone and more hydration in the drier areas.

Our best tips

Combination skin needs both hydration and balance without clogging pores. It's all about creating a well-thought-out routine where every step supports the skin. Here are some of our top tips:

  • A gentle cleanser like Eco Clean Face White Clay helps remove excess sebum and oil. Use morning and evening in circular motions all over the face. Can also be used as a tightening mask on the shiny areas of the face - apply a generous layer and leave on for 10-15 minutes.

  • Use light face creams during the day and supplement with oil and serum at night. Lingonberry Clear Cream provides light hydration without feeling greasy, while helping to balance sebum production and keep the skin lightly moisturized.

  • Avoid over-exfoliating, too much acid or strong peels can make the skin thinner and more sensitive. Instead, opt for a gentle exfoliation like our Eco Facial Scrub . Exfoliate your skin no more than twice a week.
  • During the night, the skin works on its recovery and cell renewal - apply Night Elixir Bio-Retinol 1% which helps balance the skin's sebum production and is suitable for all skin types. Lingonberry seed oil also has a pulling effect.

  • Don’t forget your neck and décolleté. These areas are often forgotten, even though the skin there is just as thin and exposed as the skin on your face. They need the same care and nourishment to prevent dryness, fine lines and loss of elasticity. So make sure to apply serum, oil and cream properly there too – and work the products in with gentle, downward movements.
