Become a bestie with the brush
By dry brushing you also speed up blood circulation and thus also help the cleansing of waste products through the lymphatic system. Cell renewal is also stimulated as dry brushing has a mild exfoliating effect. Dry brushing is a cheap and effective way to keep your skin wonderfully smooth and shiny. In addition, it can help you reduce any cellulite and make the moisture you apply to your skin more easily absorbed.
 
At first, brushing may feel a little harsh on the skin, but your skin will quickly get used to it. You can dry brush every day, but use a brush made of natural materials that is intended for dry brushing and that is not too harsh. You should feel the blood circulation in your skin, but it should not be so harsh that it damages your skin.
 
Do this:
Always start with your feet. Brush both the bottom and top. Then brush upwards in a clockwise circular motion towards your heart. Sweep over your ankles, calves and around your entire leg, repeating a few times in the same spot.
 
Brush your butt, stomach, chest and back (whatever you can reach). A long-handled brush is an advantage here. Continue with movements that go towards the heart. Move on to your hands and up and around your arms. If you want to dry brush your face, you should use a facial brush that is soft and suitable for sensitive skin.
 
Finish by showering off and then applying a natural moisturizing product, such as mild and perfume-free 24/7 Body Lotion or 24/7 Skin Oil with vegetable oils that soften and protect sensitive skin in the most loving way.
