Twice a week I do a form of pilates that is practiced on a machine called megaformer at BeCore. It is a static form of training that challenges the muscles in the whole body for about 55 minutes, it makes you strong as an ox :) Then I go on my own small rounds at a larger gym chain where I run freely according to my own needs. So I have gradually taken up my running again and run outdoors. To complement it all, I have a personal trainer twice a week. He is based in one of the city's more luxurious gyms. There you don't need to bring a lock or towel. I have the whole gym, the changing room and the sauna to myself and I get the most out of everything. This gym is located at the relatively newly opened hotel AT Six. It was after my first session with Alexander Larsson, an otherwise fantastic investment in my body (http://lapt.se/) that I discovered a big bonus that made me start thinking about what I am going to tell you about now.
When I stepped into the spacious shower, I discovered that this gym provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner from the brand Care Of Gerd! I thought it was a fun thing because I'm writing here and it was a bit unexpected. I washed my hair with Blueberry Shampoo and then I put on the conditioner and stepped into the sauna.
Inside, thoughts began to run that I have often seen people choose everything around their training with great care. The clothes should be right, as should the food. There is an awareness that is applied carefully so that it is as optimal for health. But as soon as it comes to skin health, I have been able to see that the same awareness has been missing. Which if you think about it, may seem a bit strange because in some way it is the skin that still reflects the visual result of the training and which is a large part of it. It is through it that we sweat and breathe when we train and it should adapt elastically to the changes in the body. This is precisely the reason why I was positively surprised when I saw the Care Of Gerd products in the shower. Someone has finally thought a step further! Because of course I want to continue to "nourish" the body with natural/organic even when I wash it and lubricate it. It becomes optimal in combination with good nutrition and training. Because it is the whole that makes the big difference, I think. :)
